As a test we replaced the light above the navigation desk with a (really expensive) spot which can switch color (useful for navigation at night) and be dimmed. It proofed worth the money.

Water heater – hose connection

On our way to Menorca the hose from the water heater disconnected (as it was not suited for the job). The water drained into the bilge … but the bilge alarm worked!
After returning to Ameglia we replaced the hose with a hot water resistant model.

The original MFD and electronic charts were completely outdated. On top there was only a display downstairs at the navigation desk. We added a MFD in the cockpit which can be seen and controlled from the stand.

Telescope Ladder Alu 4X3SPRO

A fixed gangway blocked the access to the swimming platform; while maybe useful, if one spends the whole time in a marina, it is just a nuisance at sea or in a bay at anchor; hence we removed it and replaced it with an alu ladder. The ladder does the job as a gangway too.
